Our Story

The vision for Kenai Core Fitness stems from Dallas' personal experience of trying to navigate her love for at-home workouts through her 3 very different pregnancies:

Before kids, Dallas had a solid home workout routine, but her pregnancies brought on nausea, fatigue, Pubic Symphysis pain, and more. During that time, she either stopped working out all together, dabbled in some group prenatal fitness classes, or managed to workout at home after many hours trying to find modifications on Google. Postpartum wasn't any different: from having a 4 finger Diastasis Recti separation, incontinence, and pelvic pain, she really had to scale back to the foundations and work with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to regain control of her body.

Finally out of the postpartum haze and adjusting to life with 3 kids, Dallas set out to become a Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism Coach to help ensure that women on the Kenai Peninsula (and beyond) no longer feel lost during their workouts or have to rely on vague advice, especially during the pre- & postnatal seasons.
